Process

  • 1. Vision & Estimate

    Let's understand your vision. Share drawings, pictures and any details that can help us understand your vision. We will provide a quick estimate to help determine if we are a right fit for your project.

  • 2. Design & Confirm

    We work with you to further develop the design. To ensure we deliver on your expectations, details will be articulated in a contract and signed. A 50% deposit will be collected and then we get to work on your piece!

  • 3. Template & Form

    If your project requires templating, we will visit the site to collect measurements and further details. We then get started on creating the formwork that will mirror the final piece. This is where you can see your vision taking form!

  • 4. Cast & Cure

    A unique blend of UHPC is mixed for your project. A variety of techniques can be used to achieve a specific look. Once the piece is cast, we tuck it in and give it time to cure. During the curing process, the concrete will rapidly gain its impressive strength.

  • 5. Process & Seal

    Processing adds yet another layer of creativity. Grinding, wet sanding, etching and grouting are used to put further depth into your piece. Once the piece is processed, it is time to for sealer. This will help protect your piece and give it that final look.

  • 6. Delivery & Installation

    We now have the pleasure of delivering, installing or shipping your handcrafted concrete piece.

    All that is left is for you to enjoy your custom piece of art.

Colors, Textures & Finishes

One of the benefits of using concrete is the ability to customize the color and appearance. With integral powdered pigments, we can create custom colors and combinations for your project. Various casting techniques give us different textures.

Expectations

If proper care is taken, your concrete countertop will age gracefully. High traffic areas will acquire a patina. We see this as the beauty of this material. Such as a loved leather couch or a maintained copper sink.

You would choose concrete because you desire authenticity, a specific look, or texture that you cannot achieve with plastic or other materials.

Although we use the latest technologies in the decorative concrete industry, concrete is a porous material. If items are left on the surface for prolonged periods of time, there is the opportunity for staining to occur. To help minimize this opportunity, wipe up messes as you go. Treat these how you want them to look.
